STEEB 2017 in Bahrain

On 17th September, the Bahraini Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, launched the first investment exhibition and forum Solar Technology Energy and Environment in Bahrain, STEEB 2017 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center, Manama. The forum is organised by the Arab Gate Expos (AGE) in cooperation with Tamkeen.

Mr. Aziz Rabah, the Minister of Energy, Minerals, and Sustainable Development of Morocco, Mrs. Amira Al Hasan, Executive Chairman of the Conference, and other important officials and professionals participated to the event.

Chairman Al Hasan announced opportunities and technology in the renewable energy sector possible thanks to the forum and the presence of numerous investors. She added that several initiatives have been carried out to introduce the latest updates in the renewable energy technology field and concluded the importance to comply with the legislation systems and the regulator in this sector due to the variety and complexity of the technologies offered in the market.

The forum last for three days, 17th-19th September 2017, and host 1,500 discussions, 1,830 subscribers, and 3,500 visitors. Also, the forum’s exhibition gathered 67 stands from companies, consulting, and other organisations in the renewable and solar energy.
