The extension of Çaypınar Wind Power Plant in Turkey

The Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA has approved the license amendment regarding the increase in the installed power at Çaypınar WPP of Ayen Ostim Energy).

Ayen Ostim Enerji approved the request for a 3.6MWe power addition to the 24MWe Çaypınar Wind Power Plant (RES) operated in Balıkesir Kepsut. Thus, the total installed power of Çaypınar WPP increased to 27.6MWe. Ayen Energy received the new generation license, which processed the installed power increase, on February 13, 2023.

After the completion of other legal procedures regarding the license amendment, Ayen Ostim Energy will start additional studies into the investment for a new turbine at Çaygınar WPP. The facility has a production permit until January 16, 2069.
