The first school for nuclear technical education in Egypt

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education in Egypt had announced the acceptance of a new batch of first grade students of secondary school to join the technical school for advanced applications of nuclear technology in Al-Dabaa.

This comes within the framework of the State’s vision to develop the field of nuclear energy in Egypt and the Ministry of Education’s efforts to prepare specialized and qualified technicians to work in the field of nuclear energy by launching the first technical school for nuclear energy technology in Egypt in the city of Al-Dabaa.

The terms of applying stated that the applicant must not be more than 18 years of age by the first of October. He must have a certificate of completion of the basic education in 2019 with a total of not less than 250 degrees, and the total of (math, English and science) courses should not be less than 90% each.

Applications were submitted from July 1st to mid-month. One of the conditions was the signing of the application by the guardian and approval by the Department of Student Affairs and Examinations at the regional educational administration of the student, and a fee of 50 pounds to the Educational Projects Support and Financing Fund, in order to apply for the acceptance test of Al-Dabaa nuclear school.

The online test will be held on Monday and Tuesday, August 5th and 6th, and students will be ranked descending according to the results of the online test. The chosen students will then move to the second phase of tests held at the Military Technical College in Cairo.
