Two nuclear competitors in Hongyanhe project

Recently, Mr. Wang Binghua, the president of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) received Mr. He Yu, the president of China General Nuclear Corporation (CGN) at the headquarters of SNPTC. After exchanging opinions on existing nuclear energy cooperation, they signed a new memorandum based on the cooperation in Hongyanhe project.

Taking Hongyanhe as a typical starting point, both parties will jointly promote the safe operation and flexible application in China and overseas market.

Hongyanhe Unit 5&6 are under construction now and it is expected to be connected to grid in 2021.
