On May 22, the Forum entitledas“SOEs uphold the construction of New Gansu” was held in Lanzhou, capital city of Gansu Province. Hao Peng, party secretary of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Xu Fushun, deputy director of the SASAC, and Tang Renjian, deputy secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee attended the meeting. Wang Shoujun, chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation, attended and pointed out that CNNC will adhere to the military-military integration development strategy by taking the Transformation and Development Express of Gansu Province, and relying on Gansu “One Belt and One Road” pivotal advantages to promote the development of a number of emerging industries.
He also stressed that CNNC will work with Gansu provincial government, scientific research institutions and enterprises to plan at a high starting point, and to give play to the advantages of technology, talents and resources in at industrial base, focusing on key areas and important regions, and constantly upgrading the enterprises in Gansu. It will form a pattern of military-civilian integration with full factor, multi-field, and high efficiency.
In addition, Wang Shoujun also went to Lanzhou University to hold a discussion with Yan Chunhua, president of Lanzhou University. The two sides stated that they will further strengthen the cooperation between enterprises, universities, and research institutes and nuclear personnel training.
