Turkey’s business enters CERN

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) reported that Turkish companies earned four tenders,  during the first six months of 2017, in the European Nuclear Research Center (CERN),

The amount of the tenders exceeded 300.000 Euros.

The number of tenders and purchases for CERN’s major infrastructure and equipment works will continue until 2026.

 

The CERN Industry Communication Office, established within TOBB, provides coordination for Turkish firms eager to participate to the tendering process.

 

The four winners are as follows:

• Gözüküçük Makina from Kayseri. The company has successfully delivered the first sample and process approvals of  4,480 precision protection shield having 3 different types and specially manufactured for CERN. Exporting 75% of its production to Western and Northern European countries, the company manufactures metal precision parts for the energy, electricity, electronics, medical and machinery sectors.
• Istanbul-based Mistel Cable earned the Flexible Barrier tender. The company has delivered 19,000 orders for 5 different types.
• EGE / GEMA Industrial Control
• ASAŞ Aluminum is preparing for the delivery of precision control valves to be used in the detector cooling system and special aluminum tubes for radio frequency coaxial cable sets.
