Qinshan Becomes China’s Largest Nuclear Power Base

Qinshan Nuclear BaseQinshan nuclear power expansion project, Fangjiashan unit 2 was connected to the grid for the first time on January 12th, two months after Fangjiashan unit 1 gridded on November 4th, 2014. It has broken the record of the shortest time limit from the first fuel loading to grid among the same type of units in China. So far, a total of nine units in Qinshan base have been put into operation with total installed capacity of 6.546 million Kw and annual output of 50 billion Kwh. Qinshan has become China’s largest nuclear power base with the largest number of units, types and installed capacity.
